Il processo della Villa Mediterranea prende nome e forma dall'identità del luogo. Situato nel nord dell'Albania nelle vicinanze del lago di Scutari. Luogo d'interazione tra Alpi - Mare - Lago - Fiumi dove il clima fa da se il progetto, la villa non cerca di superare la natura ma bensì manifesta l'interazione. La sensazione di vita dentro-fuori attraverso le grandi vetrate ma sopratutto tramite l'uso dei materiali del posto come la pietra e il legno. Il design è essenziale e povero con la perfetta proporzione, dove L'architettura e Natura convivono.

Posiamo proclamarla come "casa mediterranea" per vacanze perche l'uso è stato commissionato per una casa di vacanza, dove l'interno e stato studiato con cura per generare dei spazi fluidi sia nella zona giorno che in quella notte. Focalizzando l'attenzione verso le vetrate che si aprono verso il lago e diventa la vista privilegiata, e si ingloba dall'esterno con il suo giardino con piscina, dove in qualsiasi momento della giornata la vista e spettacolare.

Vivere nel Mediterraneo con le verande e i riflessi dell'acqua all'aperto e integrando l'interno con l'esterno si crea l'atmosfera di felicità e pace.

How will we live together? Tema e Biennale-s, një temë mjaft e rëndësishme për shoqërinë bashkëkohore, është njëkohesisht me interes të veçantë për shoqërinë shqiptare. Jetojmë tashmë në një kontekst, ku ndërkohë që qytetet po rriten dita ditës, banorët zgjedhin largimin. Po ndjejmë që fenomeni i imigrimit po rikthehet si një çeshtje mjaft shqetësuese në Shqipëri. Në vitin 1991, Shqipëria, pas renies së regjimit komunist, përjetoi një braktisje të theksuar.
Shumë ndryshime kanë ndodhur që atëhere, por fenomeni i braktisjes, është gjithmonë i pranishëm, dhe sot akoma më kercënues se kurrë. Tashmë, shoqëria, e lodhur nga pamundësia e krijimit të një komuniteti solid, po heq dorë, duke zgjedhur të fillojë nga e para. Arsyet ekonomike, cilësia e jetes, ambjente të ndodura pa hapësira publike, po shpërbejnë kontekstet shqiptare.
Në kontekstin shqiptar, arkitektura autentike po zbehet nga ndërhyrjet e reja masive, duke zbehur kështu edhe identitetin e qyteteve.
Sfida e arkitektit është përballja me problemet urgjente në shoqeri dhe gjetja e një vizioni ku mund të jetohet në harmoni të ndërsjellte. Nuk mund të pranohet më indiferenca e asnjë individi, të gjithë duhet të kontribuojmë dhe reflektojmë.
Sfida për tu përballur në këtë temë është Braktisja, Imigrimi, Indiferenca.
“IN SHIP – OUT SHIP” “IN CITY – OUT CITY”
“IN SHIP – OUT SHIP” Si metaforë e një vendi migrator mbas rrëzimit të regjimit komunist ku ekzistonte Barazi, Përfshirje, Identitet (viti 1991). Një fillim i ri. Imigrim masiv në një hark kohor të shkurtër. Kjo shënoi dhe fillimin e lëvizjes së lirë brenda dhe jashtë vendit. Që atëherë nisi nje periudhë urbanizimi masiv dhe i pa kontrolluar drejt qendrave të mëdha. Nga pikëpamja arkitektonike këto qytete u zgjeruan së tepërmi pa marrë parasysh kulturën, historinë dhe identitetin. Përmes anijes “VLORA”, si të ishte akoma në lundrim (viti 2020) “IN CITY – OUT CITY” mund të kuptojmë gjithë ndryshimet mes të shkuarës dhe të tashmes, me shpresën e një jete më të mirë. Mungesa e ndërgjegjes dhe eksperiencës për sfidat e reja në epokën e globalizimit dhe imigracioneve masive sjell në mënyre të pa shmangshme degradimin e shoqërisë. Një pjesë e mirë e popullatës ka zgjedhur braktisjen e vendit në drejtim të shteteve të zhvilluara, në kërkim të një jete më të mire, për ti shpëtuar varfërisë dhe padrejtësisë sociale, dhe pjesa tjetër që nuk ka emigruar, reagon me indiferentizëm ndaj sfidave dhe problematikave që po kalon shoqëria e sotme. Në këtë project, duam të hulumtojmë mënyrën e bashkëjetesës dhe problematikën e ndërveprimit human në hapësirën urbane.

EN. Participation: Albanian Pavilion at the International Architecture Exhibition
How will we live together? The topic of the Biennale, a very important topic for contemporary society, is also particularly important for Albanian society. We already live in a context where cities day after day are growing, meanwhile people are wishing to leave.
We feel that the phenomenon of migration is coming back as a trouble issue in Albania. In
fact, in 1991, Albania, after the fall of the communist regime, experienced a huge abandonment. Many changes has taken place, but the phenomenon of abandonment is still present today more threatening than ever. Today society, not being able to create a
solid community, is giving up, and is choosing to start over on migration issue. Economic
reasons, quality of life, environments and lack of public spaces, are disrupting Albanian
contexts.
In the Albanian context, authentic architecture is fading away from new massive intervention, that are fading the identity of the cities.
The architect's challenge is to face these urgent problems in society and to find a vision of
how each of us can live in harmony. Indifference can’t be accepted any more. We all need to contribute and reflect.
The challenges that tackles this topic are Abandonment, Immigration, Indifference.
“IN SHIP - OUT SHIP” “IN CITY - OUT CITY”
"IN SHIP - OUT SHIP" As a metaphor for a migrant country after the fall of the communist
regime where Equality, Inclusion, Identity existed (1991). A new beginning. Mass immigration in a short span of time. This marked the beginning of free movement within the country and abroad. A period of mass urbanization and uncontrolled large centers began. From an architectural point of view, these cities were greatly expanded lacking the regard for culture, history and identity. Through the ship "VLORA" as if it were still sailing (year 2020) "IN CITY - OUT CITY" can understand all the difference between past and present, with the hope of a better quality life. The lack of awareness and experience of the new challenges in the age of globalization and mass immigration inevitably lead to the degradation of our society. A large proportion of a population has opted to leave the country choosing developed countries, and being in search of a better life to escape poverty and social injustice, and the rest who have not emigrated respond with indifference to the challenges and problems that they are facing today's society. In this project we want to explore the coexistence and the problem of human interaction in the urban space.
